@fancythat Yes it is. If you give a bit more thought to the talk you can spend a long time thinking of, for example how the lack of a certain sound can influenced humanities view of the world, culture etc. Even if it's not true it`s still an idea which can lead to brilliant thoughts, that`s why it`s worth sharing. And for that reason alone it`s worth the time on TED.
Oh, and do tell me how is he negatively impacting other talks? Especially being this 3 minute speech which probably took place during one of the brakes between the "more useful talks".
