I like how the only truth in those statements was the bad stuff. Since when we were "informed" in the 1950s? Since when were the 1960s so incredibly great? This is all nostalgic bullpoo. Women and blacks were less equal back in the times he's talking about than they are now. And guess what? They`re still struggling for equality! And really, war for moral reasons?! You`ve gotta drating kidding me. We had to be DRAGGED into World War 2. Very FEW laws were based on "morality," the public and the government were just as open to monetary influence then as they are now. We had a good economy in the 1950s, although it`s been on a steady decline since. As a result it`s painted a fake picture of an oh-so-perfect `mericuh.
TL;DR: Get off the high horse and the emotional-backing-soundtrack. Nostalgia does not make a country great.

If you all dont know about the NDAA look it up. It means YOU american citizen can be abducted in the night by your gov't without any reason whatsoever, just like old school soviet russia the place my parents escaped from.

Trickle down economics killed America's greatness. You can not be the greatest if you keep digging yourself deeper into debt by taxing less and less.
