Patchgrab - we don't allow polygraphs in court either, but they are an indicator, a tool, for police use. They are not court evidence however.

SYG laws aren`t stupid. They are the rules that allow a woman being raped to kill her rapist if possible. If someone jumps you and tries to eat you face {it happens} SYG allows you to defend yourself. If it was misuesed in this case {I`m not saying it was} but if it `was` that does not mean SYG laws are bad.

2 lie detector tests indicate Zimmerman is telling the truth.
Voice stress test also indicates Zimmerman's version.
1 eye witness confirms Martin was on top beating on Zimmerman.
Martin`s girlfriend confirmes she heard Martin confront Zimmerman "You got a problem" before he hung up.
Injuries to Zimmerman confirm his story.
Injuries to Martin confirm Zimmerman`s story.
`Stand Your Ground` laws allow you to defend yourself even if you spoke to them first.

Everything confirms what Zimmerman has said all along and nothing has come to light to contradict it. Yet the Lynch-Mob mentality rules and overrides all facts.

@Crakr: In your country it may help, we don't allow polygraphs as evidence in court up here. I understand where you`re coming from though, it does help his story. This whole thing still stinks to me because I think the SYG law an asinine, poorly-thought-out law.

patchgrabber: I don't believe that lie detectors are 100% accurate either. But the police chief was fired because the saint skittles crowd said there was no proof of GZ`s story.

Well this here is about as close to proof as one can get and although it won`t help GZ in court. It help exonerate the wrongly fired police chief.
