AWESOMEBOT, I know that CSI has spoiled a lot of people into thinking that, unless there are DNA-stained underwear and grainy video of a crime, that we can't convict. And, while I applaud CSI for really raising the bar on what juries require (it used to simply the testimony of a white man, any white man), you need to know that the only reason we don`t have computers sitting juries (because, hell, if it was just fact-based, that`s all we`d need) is that guilt really *can* be determined by a number of partial facts. Eventually, enough partial facts pile up that logic allows us to realize that there`s no other viable explanation (other than, say, aliens).
That said, if you don`t think that McCleary`s testimony was clear and consistent, and with nothing to gain other than trying to do the right thing, you may want to re-read it.
