Ok, the drat do DJs even do? Me and my brother were having this discussion the other day and neither of us can figure out what the hell they're supposed to be other than basically a guy sitting there running a playlist and screwing with a few sound settings on a bunch of expensive sound equipment while everyone else has a good time.
Back a long time ago I thought "Ok, maybe there`s something I don`t get. Maybe they actually make music somehow", but to this day I have yet to figure out why DJing would be worthy of praise under most any circumstance. I see people on the internet going `Oh yeah, I`m a dj at a club over on the other side of town` like it`s an accomplishment...how is that worthy of admiration in any form?
These people seem to believe being a DJ is akin to being in a band or something. That`s probably why I was so confused for such a long time; they themselves appear to be confused as to how praiseworthy their position is.

oookay, on to my second glass of wine so here goes ... the pic - that guy rocks. @fuzzy and patch, guys, i've heard that argument too many times before. i`m a guitarist and dj - performance & participation can change your life. both require a level of skill. so, playing someone elses dance track on a deck or playing a rock riff recorded many times by many people, hmm, guess we`re all leeches.
