Sadly, I have to agree that the kid was put up to this. I REALLY expected and hoped to see a passionate speech that a kid ACTUALLY wrote, but I totally agree with everyone else (and I so didn't want to) The kids mom wrote this speech, the kid was totally put up to it. He was spoon fed all this info. You can tell from how the kid READ the speech! You can totally tell it was brand new to him by the way he faltered at certain parts and had to SOUND OUT certain words and phrases! His mom put him up to this. I really wish this had been a TRUE and WELL READ speech from the heart of a 5th grader, but I agree it wasn`t. Fail.

The kid's a fifth grader, that puts him at 10 or 11, which is certainly old enough to start forming his own beliefs about the world rather than just have his parents beliefs pushed on him. The kid`s just smart. Good for him.
