@MacG - I have tattoo's and I know they`re going to be there when I die. But when they`re shriveled and wrinkled, they`ll still be respectable. I also like Star Wars. Would I get this on my body? No.
In that case, why should he specifically be embarrassed when he`s 70? As you note - the tattoos you chose for your own body aren`t going to be looking their best on you by then; do you think you`ll regret them just because you`ve aged and so have they?

If you're thinking of getting a tattoo but are on the fence with what to get, first try a vanity license plate. First, chances are, it`ll cost less. Second, if you can`t decide what to put on your plate, you`re definitely not ready enough to put ink on your skin.
As for this post, I thought I saw the word "awesome" in the title. I must have misread that because that tat is crap.

Yes, making mistakes is part of life but does that make it right? Should I just do something because YOLO?
