@turdburgler "And to boot, diesel engines get better mileage than a gasoline engine of equal hp"
that is right... I get a consistent 20 mpg with my diesel with varied driving, even better averages when driving highway only. Not bad for truck that weighs in at over 4 tons!
If they made a similar hp/wieght ratio diesel Prius... the thing would probably get well over 100+ mpg instead to only 50!

@Buiadh...I've said it before...America is a big place, so of course there are all types here. Some of them are douches, but the same could be said about where ever you live. So why is it that you think this guy and his truck represent the rest of America. You, 8bitlooser and macmuffin take cheap shots at all of America whenever IAB posts some idiot acting stupid...while missing the point, that those things are posted because they are NOT normal. If they were, it wouldn`t be.

Stompinround - you couldn't be more correct. And to boot, diesel engines get better mileage than a gasoline engine of equal hp. This guy in the pic may be a douche, but driving a pickup, doesn`t always mean gas hog. Some of the newer trucks with dual displacement have very good mpg, with horsepower on demand.

Ya cause these are known for being so good on gas.... I myself will stick with a standard small engine for now seeing as the milage is good and it has less impact on the enviorment then the "smug" emitting Prius.
