Lady Gaga called the cyber-bullied singer "a genius." Please. Stop kissing her arse. She has recieved a lot of hate a for a crap song and now she's a genius!? People like this just feel sorry for her.
"Japan happened so close to mine"? What?
Also, WHY would you be recording an album when you`ve told by MILLIONS of people that you suck.

"I feel bad. Japan happened so close to mine, and I feel like I'm taking attention from it. I really just want to give back." What in the drat does that even mean? "Japan happened so close to mine"? to her..."fame"? Is that what she means? She seriously thinks that her "fame" overshadowed one of the worst natural tragedies of the decade? That being said, ok kudos...she`s helping. But I am skeptical. -_-

She still can't sing, and quite frankly Japan doesn`t want the help; they`ve said it themselves. Part of Japanese culture is that you don`t accept a gift outright, if you are given a gift or courtesy and don`t give something back, its considered rude and you are thought of no better than a beggar. So when you get a gift you have to reciprocate with a gift of slightly less-than or equal value. But the cycle doesn`t stop there, and you`re not considered even. At that point, you`ve now accepted a gift, which to turn down is rude by the way, and now you have to reciprocate again. Eventually the series can end with a thank you card and a polite bow in return to the thank you card. Japan knows that that is not how the Western World works, but it doesn`t make them feel any better receiving gifts.
Its confusing, and to most Westerners it doesn`t make sense, but let`s respect their wishes.

i think i remember reading comments for this link (as it was on the front page of reddit sometime this afternoon), and some people said she didn't end up donating to Japan. whether this is true or not i don`t know, but apparently she took some heat for it.
