5cats, not true. I get so tired of hearing this codswallop. #1. There was no exit polling that quantified race. #2. The real divide was between Town and Country, not black and white. Relevant quote: "In each of NC's largest cities, voters in majority black precincts rejected the measure, Charlotte 52%, Raleigh 51%, Greensboro 54%, Winston-Salem 55%, and Durham 65%. Durham`s results were dramatic, not a single majority black precinct supported the amendment. Several crushed it by margins of 3-1 and even 4-1."

The catholic church has been discriminating against certain fellow humans for-ever!!And get tax breaks for doing it!! And are encoraged!!!

@DOR: It was 2:1 amoung Blacks voting to support the ban. While 90% is an exaggeration, the fact remains Blacks strongly oppose gay marriage.
