No president that hasn't been shot at is going to take a real stand for gun control. It will end their legacy, for good or for ill. They may try, but they will lose. But having red up some more on it, this sounds like a misunderstanding slash import/export issue. Possibly even, from what I`m reading, that the ATF fed the state department misleading information about the guns, and the decision to ban them wasn`t made with all the facts in the right order. I`m hardly pro-gun, but if we are dealing with a collector`s item (american made weapons that saw service during the Korean war) then maybe this is a topic that does needs more attention. I just wish I didn`t have to google for most of the night to try and gleen 3 or 4 unbiased facts in a sea of outrage and exaggeration.

Especially with the false flag event of the Holder gun scandal. If he is reelected, gun rights will be a major concern.
