Is it bad that I'm more upset about an officially endorsed message lying about the opposition`s platform than the possible threat? It should be illegal as fraud for politicians to do that.

come on even YOU cannot justify @jamie76 you ASSUME that this thing I've never heard of before is my ONLY reason for thinking Obama plans on outlawing guns? Typical, sad and pathetic.
"Operation Fast and Furious" looikitup. It starts at the White House. Obama STILL hasn`t fired Holder (whom he appointed) and Obama and the Dems both have long histories of trying every dirty trick in the book to violate the rights of Americans.

Exactly my point, Wareagle; Up until he was president. No president that hasn't been shot at is going to take a real stand for gun control. It will end their legacy, for good or for ill. They may try, but they will lose.
But having red up some more on it, this sounds like a misunderstanding slash import/export issue. Possibly even, from what I`m reading, that the ATF fed the state department misleading information about the guns, and the decision to ban them wasn`t made with all the facts in the right order.
I`m hardly pro-gun, but if we are dealing with a collector`s item (american made weapons that saw service during the Korean war) then maybe this is a topic that does needs more attention. I just wish I didn`t have to google for most of the night to try and gleen 3 or 4 unbiased facts in a sea of outrage and exaggeration.

Wow people do some research, Obama has spent his entire career, up until his decision to run for president, being one of the most "gun hating" elected officials. Especially with the false flag event of the Holder gun scandal. If he is reelected, gun rights will be a major concern.
