Zig Zag lines and words painted outside schools in the UK are sometimes yellow, and we DO have lampposts like that. This could be anywhere in the UK, England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland. That bus shelter looks like some we have in my town.

vv @JeepJones: Actually, there ARE some places where you can park any which way in Canada! I was shocked to learn that.
southern Canada can't be THAT much colder than the UK :P @Orchieous: HAHAHA! Yes it can! But really, if you`re close to the ocean, NOT the Artic Ocean, it`s comparatively warm there. Winnipeg? Regina? Yeah, it gets cold, and stays cold!

Oh and I don't think this is the UK, we don`t have lamposts like that and the only yellow we use on roads are lines parallel to the pavement.
Direction of cars isn`t definitive anyway, there`s just as much chance these cars were on the right side of the road and pulled up outside their houses by crossing the opposite lane.
Besides, these women have the distinct jaw lines of those of eastern europe.
