i know girls in real life that look better than any of the girls ive seen in those magazines. if they arent allowed to airbrush/photoshop anymore, theyll just hunt down naturally super-attractive women. and everyone will STILL bitch

While I think she has the right idea, maybe she's really making a pointless protest. Isn`t it up to the reader to decide whether to imitate what they see and strive to be? So if they want to, why not let them. I think girls should be smart enough to make their own decisions by that age. Why not ignore those magazines and let the morons...be morons?

magazines have ALWAYS airbrushed their models. I think rather than protest that, why don't folks just quit buying those, rag mags and start reading something of substance.

*side-note: 17 is the magazine most noted for restraining the use of touch-up and photo-shop. just saying...
