That's what happens when breeders put the look of the cat before it`s health. Persians are bred to have very short nasal passages because it is a desirable trait at shows, but it causes such problems for the poor cat. I wouldn`t support those breeders as they are warping God`s creatures to their own ends.

I talk to my cats constantly, and it`s a nice way to relax and complain about the housework without annoying my spouse. They just sit their and don`t pass judgement back. And they are so cute when they meow in reply :)

i say the same sort of things to my dogs (greeting them with 'hello, my fine young bitches`).
