"And please don't confuse servants with slaves, servants worked off their debts and got the benefits of learning a trade, slaves never had that option."

As long as the `servant` was not beaten to death, or at least survived a couple of days afterward.
I bet at some point 90% of people believed the sun revolved around the earth. I bet at some point 90% of people believed the earth was flat. I bet at some point in greece 90% of people believed in Zeus. I bet at some point in norway 90% of people believed in Thor. I bet at some point in america 90% of people supported slavery. The majority is not always right.

I sincerely doubt you could ever find a poll to prove that assertion. And please don't confuse servants with slaves, servants worked off their debts and got the benefits of learning a trade, slaves never had that option.
Hell these college graduates, with student loans, today are not unlike servants themselves.

"HG: When your opinion is in the 10% and the majority is in the 90%, perhaps you should be asking if you're on the wrong side."
