Ah, and to add, The meds wore off in about 10 minutes of pulling the IV out of my arm. So I had no effect from the meds long before they let me leave.

I also did not have this much fun when I had mine removed. I drove to the surgeons, sat in a chair for 30 minutes with an IV, then sat in a waiting room for 45 minutes and then drove to work with some sponges in the backs of my cheeks. Wasn't really a big deal and wasn`t anywhere near "fun" or "goofy".

I didn't have this much fun when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I guess I called a few people on the ride home and then I misplaced my cell phone. I just started crying because I couldn`t find it. Straight up hyperventilating.
Then I got home, and layed on the bathroom floor next to the toilet because I felt like I had to puke coming off of the meds. I know I passed out and woke up to my mom freaking out because my face was in a puddle of blood. Fun times.

She is so lucky...
Had mine pulled in the Navy - grew in perfectly straight and didn't crowd but the dentist was afraid something might happen while onboard a ship...
I had all four removed at once with 28 shots of Novacaine and then I got to walk back to my quarters splitting blood the whole way... such lovely memories. It was a Friday so I had the weekend to recover.
