Nor would a hurricane in a scrap-yard produce a 747, a commoner analogy. But evolution works through random mutation and natural selection. Either this guy does not know this and he is, at best, ignorant or he does know it and is being dishonest. We have established that he has a sound career in medicine, so dishonest is looking likely.

It's obvious from these comments that people hear this speaker and quickly dismiss him as an idiot. Clearly, a cardio-thoracic surgeon as decorated as him is not an idiot. I didn`t mean to imply that the sciences are interchangeable, only that he is not ignorant of them.
