Make comparisons = analogy = exactly what is going on here. I wasn't saying the actual science behind this was an analogy, but comparing the science to computers is an analogy. And then thinking we`re in the matrix based on that analogy is bogus.

It's really just an analogy at the moment, saying we live in the matrix or are sims is a major leap.

It`s more than just an analogy. It is indeed a theory with evidence in the natural world that it`s true. Take for instance the quantum realization that it`s not really there unless it`s being viewed. One could extrapolate that and make comparisons with how computers work.

the sims theory would also shore up one of the few unknowns with the big bang theory... where everything came from
