Make comparisons = analogy = exactly what is going on here. I wasn't saying the actual science behind this was an analogy, but comparing the science to computers is an analogy. And then thinking we`re in the matrix based on that analogy is bogus.

Well definitely this is not the definitive proof for it but yeah, all this is just a simulation created for us to experience with a very specific purpose. Just only one of innumerable universes

It's really just an analogy at the moment, saying we live in the matrix or are sims is a major leap. ------------- It`s more than just an analogy. It is indeed a theory with evidence in the natural world that it`s true. Take for instance the quantum realization that it`s not really there unless it`s being viewed. One could extrapolate that and make comparisons with how computers work.
