@5cats, your Sears analogy makes no sense. Also, i don't know why you`re downloading Terrorist Training material but i think you should stop - you can get into a lot of trouble for that.

That is probably the smartest and most intuitive thing I've ever seen you write 5cats. Well thanks @Patchy! You`ve made my day quite a bit brighter! I`ve been arguing about this since the 80`s when the first laws against casette tapes were passed. Recording vinal LPs off the radio? Illegal! Oh how far we`ve come!
They could be using it for much more nefarious reasons, such as training terrorists (especially in Canada)
@BlankTom: If Sears sells me a steak knife, and I kill someone with it, the sales clerk who sold it to me goes to jail? Also, why would I downloa terrorist training videos? Perhaps I`m researching a Paper for school? Can I buy those videos from a company? lolz! Apples & Oranges. Freedom vs Control

@penguinazul: Agreed. It's not my fault that the entertainment industry didn`t anticipate or facilitate a change in the distribution medium of their product. They need to keep up with the times, and instead of doing that they just want to throw people in jail.
