one more thing, "rich in va" said "I think the ad is based on a false premise. No church I have ever been associated with turned anyone away. I've never heard of it happening before either. I`m not saying it doesn`t happen, but I think this denomination is getting on a high horse for no good reason. To suggest it`s a common thing is just not true." While I doubt any church did what the ad showed, I think, no, I know (I am afterall in the Bible belt) some churches do turn people away in other ways. They impose certain morals on the congregation (for instance, homosexuals simply going to church, not trying to preach, just wanting to attend) and they do things like not talk to them, etc. till that person doesn`t return. So they turn them away in a more symbolic sense.

I have seen this before somewhere. Was it on tv? It makes no sense it was band. It never occured to me anyone in it was gay or anything. How dumb. I thought it was a good ad for a church to run. Very inclusive.
