It costs more because is it matured and stored longer, and hence costs slightly more to make, you fool :P 'Older` cheese is generally sharper.

I'm a fan of the non house brands to be honest.
If you`re going to give me homebrand or whatever your house brand is, in Woollies case one is Select, don`t wrap it up all pretty and charge me extra. Give me pooty black an white packaging and let me be el-cheapo.
(Jokes aside, I`m picky with what I buy/eat and I remember that their house brands of cheese are pretty pooty. Worth spending the extra buck and getting something actually edible. Only thing it has going for it is it is Aus made,)
