Snotty liberals hate Olive Garden because it represents corporate America, and they have utter contempt for people-- especially "red-state rubes clinging to their guns and religion" -- who disagree with them. Olive Garden may not be four-star haute cuisine, but they serve consistently good food in a pleasant atmosphere at affordable prices. Worst of all, common folk who live out in "fly-over country" actually enjoy it, and for some perverse reason, that galls the left-wing elitists.
Hey, if you don't like it, stay away, and we`ll get along fine.

I moved from an area with many gross Olive Gardens to a place with none in the general vicinity, and when they decided to build one, the locals reacted kind of like this lady. I was completely boggled by it. I asked some of them if they'd ever actually eaten at one and they said yes, that`s they would drive over an hour to go to the closest one. Finally I broke down and went, to see if maybe I was wrong about Olive Garden. But no, it was still disgusting.

@ Mister C: Yeah. Olive Garden sucks.
Not that I have room to talk. My hometown (thank God I haven't lived there in 20 years) recently had an article in the local paper about the hysteria surrounding the opening of the areas first White Castle.
