"WBC pickets funerals, which is almost, if not as bad as desecrating a cemetery."
Worse, because the grieving family is present and the recent death is almost unbearable as it is. A WWII war grave is sacrosanct because it represents sacrifice of a man, a unit and a nation fighting to keep the fascists out of Libya, but they are deaths from long ago. A war gravestone can be remade and relaid; the dead do not care.
As for the Libyans, they should remember who bombed their enemies. The message was newsworthy but the act itself meaningless.
