I'm actually ok with this. Ash Wednesday people just go to church to get an ash cross on their foreheads. And while i think the whole thing`s stupid, this wastes less time.

The church isn't the building.. it`s the people. According to the theology anyway. You do not need a building to have a church.

Gerry: Your example was of a Drive-in movie theater that was used for Sunday morning services, It wasn't a "church" per se. They used to hold tent revivals on fairgrounds, and Billy Graham filled sports stadiums for his preaching, but neither were churches.

It was for Ash Wednesday people, Their church was just making things convenient for their parishioners. Wednesday, after all, is a weekday. People need to go to work, run errands, have appointments to attend, etc. It's not as if they are offering drive-thru sermons, communions, or confessionals.
