I have a friend that is a 5'8 female that weighs 190lbs, and really, she`s not fat at all. I mean, she`s no twig, but she looks healthy, and she is healthy: she eats healthy and exercises. According to the BMI scale, she`s borderline obese. It`s flawed for her.

However, for me, it is absolutely correct which is why I`m trying to lose weight. 10lbs down already! Woo!

I've got way too much abdominal weight from a huge adenoma and gallons of Prednisone when I was 20. Yet I went to a "Women`s Fair" where one booth offered electronic BMI tests. The tech actually smirked as I took the handles, but couldn`t believe it when I registered in the "ideal" range. I think this girl`s right: the BMI doesn`t tell the whole story.

She might be right about something but I couldn't finish. Too obvious an attention whore, naming the show sex+ was a dead give away.
