If this was any Canadian city, we be having a vote on whether or not to set up a committee to deal with the cleanup. There would be another vote on the members of the committee. There would be another vote on which corporation would be awarded the contract of cleaning up the mess. And then there would be 10 additional votes on which areas to clean up first. (Total time 1 year from now) Then once work had actually started, there would be 3 strikes, based on working conditions and wages, and the overall cost of the cleanup would be four times the amount initially quoted by the winning bid, and take three times longer. Sound about right?
