@CrakrJak: There is blame on both sides of the aisle for the mortgage scandal (though I'd say it mostly lies with the banks), but my point wasn`t blame, it was timing.
If you become mayor shortly after a town is decimated by a flood, you shouldn`t take all of the blame for the fact that things got worse after you became mayor. That`s just absurd. Things were going to get worse before they got better, no matter who was in office. That`s just how things work after a disaster.
And yet, that`s exactly the kind of "logic" some people try to use to impugn Obama. It`s sickening.

This is so ridiculous. He walked into a recession he had no part in creating. How about you look at the same statistics, only instead of looking at inauguration day and today (which doesn't take into account the downturn shortly after his inauguration, before any legislation he enacted had an effect), you look at the information from every January 31st since his inauguration. Then you`d get an actual idea of whether or not he has made improvements. Christ.

You know what else happened since Obama became president? I had like 2 colds, a sinus infection, had to reformat my hard drive, Skyrim bookcases were bugged, and SO MANY PEOPLE took arrows to the knee... I could go on and on.
