Amazingly, after all this time, the Microwave is still an awesome electronic gadget! The rest of them, well, they had their time and faded away - but how many people have a better replacement for a microwave?

I remember when you could rent vcrs from the video store. It was a big deal when my parents would rent one. Our first one also had a cord with the remote but I thought that was the greatest thing in the world!
