@TheShgn2 - At my first high school, they made every club clean up outside once a month. So for example, I was in French club, and 1 day of 1 month me and a friend had to clean up the area with the portables outside. Every month a new group would be chosen. I thought it was a good way to do things because it built teamwork and etc, and they still had janitors, it just lessened their work load. Having kids clean as punishment is fine to me too, considering at my schools they just sat around doing nothing anyway. The only time I had to clean at my 2nd high school was when my art teacher was having a inspector coming to her room and she knew her room was out of code so we had to clean and organize. It was a day that most kids weren't at school though (can`t remember why).

Ha, Gingrich wants the schools to PAY kids to clean the school? My school literally makes you clean the school as a 'physical exercise` when in in-school suspension, rather than hire a janitor. I`m pretty sure it`s illegal, but whatever.
