OK OK its convenient, it's free, it`s just too damn tempting to turn down. My only point is that I find it just a little hard to believe that nobody feels even remotely, somewhere in the back of their mind, that pirating music movies games etc. is just even little devious.
I mean hey, I do it all the time. I don`t lose any sleep over it, I guess I`m just callous like that. Though I`ve never deluded myself on the nefarious nature of it.
I guess that`s all I really want, I just want everyone to at least acknowledge were all bad boys and girls.
Problem is, you view the bridge as the only means to cross, so in your mind, that is the only way and if you travel between the islands, you are stealing.
What ive done is build boats, cheap boats, and alot of them. I set them in the water and people share them to get back and forth. Most people get tired of rowing and eventually pay your toll, but until then, they got my boats.
So who would you be to say I cant cross the water by boat?

If I built a bridge between two islands and asked that you pay a toll each time you cross it, few people could argue my reasons for doing so. As I had gone through considerable expense building and maintaining it as such.
Then someone realizes they could use my bridge for free, its OK in their mind because they are only 'using` it, not `stealing` it. after all, I still have my bridge. This idea quickly catches on and soon no one is paying a toll. I abandon my bridge, seeing no reason to maintain costly repairs. the whole purpose of building a bridge in the first place is rendered obsolete because somebody decided to redefine the concept of what it is to steal.
