i just took about 4 minutes out of my day to show my whole family this video, in a hope to help spread awareness of sopa. I also hope you all could do the same.

I know what they're trying to do, and I`m for it, but taking this tactic to the extreme is just stupid.
Am anti-piracy 110%, people need to get it in their minds that things are copy-writ for a reason, though I admit that word has been perverted over the past few years. They don`t liberate data from shadowy organizations trying to con people out of their money, they`re stealing peoples` livelihoods. Pirates aren`t savvy Robinhood-esqe internet figures, they`re just a*sholes.

When you live by capitalist standards, is it no wonder that corporations will do anything to make more money. Even if it means the rest of the world suffers, doesn't matter as long they get richer.
I don`t mean to imply that it`s a bad system, we have seen it work just fine. It`s when you give someone too much power over others that it becomes a problem. Like when you let the ones with the most money dictate how things are run, they are going to make it better for them selfs, not anyone else.

@IRockYeah - Who laughed? I didn't. The middle east being blocked was atrocious. Censorship esp. in China directly affects me, too. So many people who could be using twitter/facebook and stuck using Weibo (which I also use) and aren`t able to freely express themselves due to the censorship. The fact that the US (government, bought and paid by corporation) wants to become just like China on internet censorship is scary.
