I'm hardly a die-hard surfer, but I am definitely a surfer. Came close to dying a few times, never looked back. But yeah. F*ck the last wave on earth, I`d be panicking like a bitch and looking for higher ground.

Okay, surfing footage unrelated to everything above the ocean.

I was expecting something like a surfer riding a tsunami through downtown Los Angeles. Much like the scene described in 'Lucifer`s Hammer` (Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle; 1978). A tsunami caused by a comet hit in the Pacific. Great book. Gil would have made it MILES inland had it not been for an inconveniently placed apartment building.

"If death was inevitable, what was left? Style, only style." -Gil from `Lucifer`s Hammer`.
