"Go to Mcdonald's, the both of you. Get a job, and apply for the projects.
Homelessness is curable."
Spoken like someone who hasn`t had to look for work recently, and has never been homeless. Newsflash: Even McDonald`s now requires (though not "officially", because that would be illegal) that you speak Spanish...fluently. No habla Espanol? No job. Oh, and they kind of ALSO require a home address and a telephone number. Same with pretty much every other employer out there now. And more and more are no longer requiring "reliable transportation", but rather that you "own your OWN car". Yes, they are. Look in your classified`s a bit closer. Employers know that for every job now, they can choose from literally hundred`s of applicants, so they can afford to be choosier, laws be damned.
And, I wouldn`t let my worst enemy spend a night in the Projects. Ever.

really guy? a million dollars you wouldn't sell that dog? you can adopt a dog for around $350 so you still have $999,650 left. you can buy 4 dogs, a house, and anything else you need. you could live off of it for a couple years if you`re unable to find a job, which you should be able to if you have any sort of experience at anything useful.

Great job, maketreks. I enjoyed it A trip from a "life", with job, house, car money is a very dramatic event, that most people understand - and the dog was of course great :-) They seemed real positive, in spite of their tragic situatuon. You could've done a one hour video on this topic and these people, as far as my interest go.

Hm. Look for other people like you in that situation. Group up and build a nomad lifestyle out of it. Make tepees and get a big garden going. People case you away. Take the tepees and move further into nature. If you "hooked" on drugs(+alcohol) that do your body harm, start taking natural psychedelics. To clear that out of your system. Then after you've your learned lessons you could cut down on the shrooms to make more time for improving your material situation. Try to survive by what yu can grow and avoid begging for money. As being dependent on money when you don`t have a job, is like being dependent on crack or thinking you get a healthy diet from eating hamburgers every day. Go to libraries for knowledge or entertainment. Take up a craft where you convert natural or recycled material into useful objects or art. Trade that for essentials aso.
