I can easily explain what happened here. First, let's observe the ice and what it seems to have been doing. We can safely assume, as has been demonstrated that water flows specifically with gravity and that once water molecules begin to slow in their movement, water then freezes. The end result is the shape of said ice.

Water also does not appear from nowhere and no external sources are apparent to show, demonstrably that the water was actually flowing in a downward motion at the time. Also, we do not see the ice leaving evidence of a cresting as the water made contact with the ground which is solid.

With those facts present I conclude that there is only one thing which could have caused this phenomena; Awesomeness.
