Gerry: I thought you had more fashion sense than that, perhaps that's just a stereotype though.

I really don't like how I can`t put the 1-finger cursor icon solely in the middle of youtube`s pause button. Always 1-pixel off center. Pisses me off.

You're an idealist, I`m a skeptic, You`re a dreamer, I`m a realist.

Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man.

Granted, politicians will not give up their money, ever. But they
should be honest about who they really represent. Make them
dress like this . . .

jtrebowski: all campaigns should be solely publicly financed by the tax-payers with a spending limit.

Not going to work, and I'll tell you why. Most candidates are religious and they mention it in their campaign ads. If the government gets involved in funding campaigns then the atheists will scream about public money promoting religion, then the whole damn thing falls apart over the 1st amendment again.

Also, is the government going to pay for those millions of dollars of TV ads as well ? If not, then how are you going to force the TV stations to air them for free ?

You`re an idealist, I`m a skeptic, You`re a dreamer, I`m a realist. I was once a lot like you are. I believed it could all be changed into a unified perfect system. Then it kicked me in the head, that making such a system would violate everyone`s rights and we`d all be living in tyranny. What was started with good intentions would soon turn into a crushing Orwellian regime.
