@Rob Swindol yes, there's just one John in the gospels, but there`s also 1 2 & 3 John which were letters written to John, which are also in the New Testament in the Bible. So 1 John 5:3 is different from John 5:3

"Please tell me I'm not the only one here who`s noticed the passage "1 John 5:3". Please tell me that you guys know enough about the bible to know that there is only one book of "John"."
*facepalm* Just in case you don`t have a Bible handy in order to look at the contents...1 John (ie the first book of letters written by John) is right after 2 Peter & before 2 & 3 John. The book of John (ie the work attributed to John that tells the story of Jesus` life...& no preceding numbers)is after Luke.
