kittehdee29, What's the problem? The scene WAS in `Apocalypse Now`. They just EXPLAINED it in the documentary `Heart of darkness`. The script for `Apocalypse Now` IS based on a book called Heart of Darkness by J. Conrad. Here is the quote: In perhaps the most famous example, the brutal breakdown of Martin Sheen’s Captain Willard IN THE OPENING SCENE OF Francis Ford Coppola’s APOCALYPSE NOW is far more real than you can imagine. EXPLAINED in the documentary Heart of Darkness made about Apocalypse Now, the scene was shot on Sheen’s birthday. Can you read?

I was expecting the 1st attack scene from Jaws (The skinny dipping one). They tied rope around the girl's waist and torso and pulled on them, so the movements would look like a shark thrashing around. The screams she lets out are actual screams of pain, as she suffered bad bruising and, I think, a broken hip. At 4:05 of THIS clip.
