savagemonkey you are missing the point. Those opposing view links are not showing up on the screen. We do not have the choice to click on them or not.

These are legitimate concerns about our online future, not conspiracy theories.

Well... if you were actually clicking on those links of opposing ideas, wouldn't they keep showing up? I respond more often to people who post things I don`t agree with, and my google and facebook both seem pretty balanced. Maybe just don`t TALK about wanting your ideas challenged and getting a balanced intake, but DO it. Nobody makes you put the cigarette or the extra piece of pizza down. You have to do it yourself.

I will have to look into putting google back on it's leash... after exams.

@iceblack- no one is insinuating that it isn't legal and fair. They are saying that it`s not the right thing for the future of the internet. They are doing this for all the right reasons, they just have the wrong idea.

Install Ghostery, Adblock+ and NoScript. Not only do they enhace privacy, they actually makes your browsing faster...

Hmm...what do Ghostery and Adblock+ do that NoScript doesn't?

On a related note, do you now how to configure Firefox 8 to delete ordinary cookies on exit but retain Flash cookies/LSOs? I`d rather have it that way and use Better Privacy to delete Flash stuff because BP has a whitelist and I want to keep LSOs for games I play.
