Colours on masks and face paint mean things in traditional Japanese theatre. I vaguely recalled the use of face paint, so I looked it up earlier in this thread. Pale red signifies youth, cheerfulness or optimism. A bit darker red indicates determination, passion, vigour. Seems to fit.

" OK you face paint claimers. Why? First of all her face isn't bleeding until after impact 6:23. Second it makes no sense. She slides down into water and instead of looking for her shorts she pulls red paint from her easily accessible vagina? All of you have lost your minds."
For one the color of the red has why to much violet color in it to be blood. It is paint. Maybe it was suppose to be fake blood, if so they failed on the color.
