For the first time this May a Gallup poll showed a majority (53%) of American's favor legal gay marriage. That is a 9% swing in one year. I believe we are one to two years away from it being socially unacceptable for a church to spout anti-gay rhetoric. Love and tolerance has won.

@davymid - "I don't know of anyone who wants a polygamous marriage outside of weird religious cults. "
Maybe it`s not common, but there are relationships with more than 2 people involved, that aren`t part of a cult, where everyone in the relationship loves each other. I knew someone in a mfm relationship and at the time I didn`t really support it but I see how it can work now. I wouldn`t even mind being in a mfm relationship myself as long as everyone involved loved each other (which is why I don`t say fmf, because I`m straight and can`t really see myself loving a woman in that way). Any more than 3 kinda seems like too much to me but everyone`s different. I`m fighting for gay rights first but I hope people eventually start becoming more accepting of mutual love, polyamorous relationships, because they`re not all just 1 guy brainwashing 20 women.

I don't know of anyone who wants a polygamous marriage outside of weird religious cults @davymid then clearly you don`t know the S&M subculture, the "free love" subculture or the "swingers" subculture. Also a former head of the NOW lived in a 3-way (fmf) relationship while she was boss, so I`m guessing those feminists were brainwashed too? There are plenty of people who`d want and support multiple partner marriages, not a majority for certain, but that`s not the issiue, is it?
Just because MY kink is less "popular" than YOUR kink doesn`t make it any less justified.
