Angilion, apparently I hit a chord. I notice you decided to omit the remainder of my post.
I should also point out that while your lobbing pathetic rejoinders, I was initially responding to an equally banal bit of tripe myself, but I digress.
The ultimate hypocrisy of your statement is likely never going to be evident to you. I've already wasted enough time on this reply.

Selous is right Solvent, Britain's government long ago took away the right of their people to defend themselves.
Are you trying to be the stereotype of an parochial American proudly parading their ignorance of other countries?
People in the UK have a right to defend themselves and others using whatever degree of force is required, up to and including killing people. The right also extends to stopping any crime in progress at the time, though a lesser degree of force would be considered reasonable when chasing and bringing down a fleeing criminal.
In modern times, this has even been extended to cover completely unreasonable and excessive use of force as a form of revenge, i.e. hunting people down and trying to beat them to death with clubs.
And it still isn`t enough for the blood-crazed psycho liars who say that there`s no right to self-defence in the UK.
