That's my son. You haters can trash him. If you saw him live you`d change your tune. The sound guy got it together for the RATM song they did. Look for the video on the guys page that posted it. Thanks everyone else for the nice comments. He loves to perform!
You might, somehow, be unaware of the fact that there`s a lot of ground between "mindless adulation" and "hatred".
But there is, and your inability to understand that doesn`t make it any less real.
He can play and he can do it on stage with a audience. That`s very impressive at 9. It doesn`t mean he`s a combination of Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads, as good as both of them put together. Although he might be in the future, maybe.

Swaywithme: "I'm pretty sure just the fact that he`s 9 makes him stand out already!!" --------------- Not really. Half of my students were that age. Half of those kids were as good as this kid.
Don`t get me wrong. He`s doing an amazing job and should keep it up. At this rate, he will be amazing when he`s older. All I`m saying is, for now, he`s really good. Not drop dead amazing...just really good. I mean that is the most supportive way possible.
There is something I used to tell all of my students. The moment you start thinking you`re good, you`ll stop getting any better.

Love when parents start them young, gives them a good chance at it. Wish I started younger, but I started at 14, not the best learning age.
