@Angilion, is that Mondeo a Diesel?
No idea. They probably do some diesel and some petrol models, that's the usual thing. I read the economy and emissions figures on an advertising hoarding while I was walking past.
Since you`ve asked, I`m curious enough to look it up on Ford UK`s website. Yes, it`s diesel for the >60mpg one. 1.6L Duratorq TDCi engine.

@keith2 quite possibly if you drove like a grandmother and let it's fancy cylinder shut off computer do it`s job, but then really it`s just the same as that `yota`s little four banger, but alas i know you, you are just like me. foot down always. so you really only get like 17...maybe. cheers

somehow i feel that the oil companies are probably to blame on why certain "gas-efficient" cars are not available here lol...they might as well start giving away gas! *which will happen when the apocalypse does, so never!* unless youre a certain religious man.... o.O

@Angilion, is that Mondeo a Diesel? you don't need small gasoline engines to get good fuel economy. Perhaps if there were more diesel options here in North America, everyone can save fuel. Can someone explain to me why there isn`t? I would really love a Toyota Hilux diesel, but unfortunately if I want a small Toyota pickup my option is only gas, unless I import.
