I actually prefer the older version, the speech bubble is annoying me.

And at everybody talking about the true meaning behind Halloween: It's true, those beliefs have pretty much faded from the public mind. But so has the idea that bringing an evergreen tree into your house during solstice will protect the inhabitants from darkness and cold. Or the idea that baby animals in the spring represent new growth and fertility after the dead, infertile winter. Or the Roman festivals celebrating marriage and fertility that used to occur on February 14 and 15. These are all symbols associated with modern holidays, but the original meanings were lost long ago.

Who cares where or why it originated, this is what it's about now. Costumes and candy.

@spanerbulb - The USA has forgotten what Halloween is supposed to be about. To them it is just an excuse to dress up (and drink if old enough). I doubt half of them have a clue where/why it originated.

"Good ... but not a Halloween costume, it's fancy dress, there is a big difference you crazy people."

Umm actually no, it is a costume. It`s based on the work of artist Roy Lichtenstein.
