jravity1 - here's some food for thought. There`s no better example of "making your money go to there hands" than the 30% or so of your income that you are robbed of, which goes directly into various government coffers. We are literally indentured servants to the debt that our `democratic` government has accumulated `for` us, and the irony is that 99% of these 99%`ers want to see MORE of this outright plunder going toward the same purpose. Do you think that because top-earner income was on the decline between the 1940`s and 1970`s that EVERYONE ELSE was necessarily getting richer? If you refer to more thorough statistics on the issue, I`m sure you`d see that the opposite (i.e., that standard of living has increased in measurable proportion to this `boon` of corporate greed that was inaugurated by circa-80`s deregulation) was true. This is not a kleptocracy - nor is it a democracy.

You can't take a system of government that was designed to be a `republic` and convert it into simple majority rule without encountering some, if not all of the problems that these misguided protesters are rallying against in the first place!
