I guess that in the end everyone is wrong when they talk about drug or alcohol use. It is alright as long as your not abusing it. Everything in moderation, that's the key. However, temptations can often be hard to resist. The problem with many drugs, especially alcohol, is that the line between using and abusing is often crossed too easily without knowing. That`s the real danger. Been there! Not cool! When it comes to smoking pot; it can in fact have a lot of negative consequences on ones physical and mental health as well. Yet, I do think that the government`s policies on the use of marijuana are out of proportion and inhumane (e.g. ruining peoples lives by locking them up for possession). Compromises can, and should be made if the government insists on refusing to legalize. But I think we can all agree that this sh*t`s getting out of hand!

@BB MAL, they see a link between schizophrenia and cannabis. I smoke cannabis myself, so my intellectual processes might be hindered, but i did notice that there are an awful lot of cannabis users, and the number of regular cannabis users is growing, but the number of schizophrenics is not following the curve. One who is not intellectually impaired might reason that the personality type that most schizophrenics have is the type that would use cannabis, and that the cannabis is just bringing out something that is already present, and not actually creating the situation.
