@darkmagic14n, Lot of different opinions from each person there about why they protest, but general "capitalism" isn't one.
Common threads: 1)Influence of corporate money and special interest in politics. Particulary campaign financing and legislation 2)Lack of regulation protecting majority of people from dangerous business practices 3)Gov protecting "job creators" with no oversight to ensure those are American jobs 4)Corporations legally "individuals" with all rights and privelages, but none of responsibilities or accountablity 5)Growing rift between wealth/income of very small percent of citizens and 99% of everyone else that outpaces economic growth 6)Middle and Lower class feel they are more affected by economic crisis and current recession and many proposed recovery solutions or defecit reduction plans place more of the burden on them as well
