@duffytoler have you ever met anyone with any of those disorders? or are you talking out of your ass? i knew a kid with aspergers, he was well behaved, and very nice. he didn't make eye contact often, and had trouble speaking, and seemed to be more of a child then an average high schooler, but never "wanted to feel special". he was on the swim team, and did all the same exercises and meets as us. Saying medical disorders are made up so kids can feel special isn`t just ridiculous, its ignorant.

Asperger's is the latest in a long line of designer illnesses that have no clinical pathology to show they even exist. Other designer illnesses include chronic fatigue syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hyperactivity, and attention deficit disorder. Basically it all boils down to two things: 1. They want to feel special 2. They want a medical excuse for their bad behavior
