In the comics, the whole point of the costume is to protect the protagonist's identity so they can avoid reprisals by criminals or the law. Once they know who the black guy is in the rubber suit is, it`s redundant and the game`s over.

Phoenix Jones is an awesome experiment into what happens when you try to be a super hero in real life. It doesn't end up like the Watchmen. Still Phoenix you kick ass, it might be a little corny but thanks for giving a poo and doing something unlike most others. Do you think if the Occupy Wall Street protests get out of hand Phoenix will need to maintain order like Nite Hawk II and the Comedian?
