Stadium Seating In The Classroom [Pic]
This is how your grandchildren are going to sit in class (and not pay attention in school and flunk out) in the future.

@madest- "Why do they need a specific message?"
Well if your trying to send a message to someone, and you are looking for a sincere change, the message part becomes rather important.
"Separation of Corporation and State. Will that do?"
Not really, because the totality of the group has different goals, some that include this, some that include communism, some that include the gov' taking blame for 9/11, some want free education, etc.

I think the only coherent and universal underlying message is the people in the crowd are moderately* upset about their prospects in the slow economy. The government has no more effective fiscal, monetary, nor policy levers available to it, so all it can do is sit tight, minimise disruption and let them burn off their frustration.
It's fun to watch though, especially the mace.
*I say `moderately` because they`re still behaving reasonably, not acting like a bunch of revolutionaries, blowing up stuff and burning the exchange.

BBJellyFish, Why do they need a specific message? To satisfy your media fed desire for sound bytes? Yeah their goals are broad and they've realized that no matter what party`s in charge they do the same thing. Our economy is in the pooper it`s a combination of Wall St and Washington.
I saw a sign in DC that demanded: Separation of Corporation and State. Will that do?
